Nick Doiron is a web developer and volunteer with multiple OLPC projects. In early 2013, Nick worked with the Ministry of Education of the Marshall Islands to launch a One Laptop per Child program (http://olpc-yokwe.tumblr.com/ ). Nick conducted teacher training and taught an introductory class to students at three schools in the capital, Majuro Atoll.
Ian has been working with OLPC deployments from the launch of the global initiative and has assisted in deployments in many Pacific Islands, from full saturation of every child in Niue and Kosrae to 50 laptops shared in a school in Tonga. He is currently based in the University of the South Pacific as the Manager of the e-Learning Centre and is supporting four key projects of OLPC deployments of more than 1,000 laptops each.
